HAMPTON, GA – March 7- 8, 2009 – Lori Hamilton, wife of famous cup driver Bobby Hamilton, teamed up with NASCAR this weekend to provide free screening for head and neck cancer at Atlanta Motor Speedway during the Kobalt Tools 500. Bobby Hamilton was the 2004 Craftsman Truck Series champion and a four-time cup winner at NASCAR's highest level before his death from head and neck cancer in 2007. 

Additionally, Lori Hamilton appeared on Sirius NASCAR radio’s “The Morning Drive” on March 5, speaking with hosts Mike Bagley & David Poole about her advocacy work surrounding oral, head and neck cancer awareness. She also discussed her personal experiences with Bobby’s diagnosis and treatment.
